Launch of the Uechi-Ryu Institute: A New Adventure Begins!

One month ago, we unified our Oryukan online program with its English-language version, giving birth to the Uechi-Ryu Institute!

In just two weeks, we’ve already welcomed new students—and the enthusiasm around this project is real. Practitioners from Norway, Germany, Slovenia, Monaco, and the USA have joined us on this exciting journey.

Diverse Programs, One Shared Goal

At the Institute, we offer multiple programs to suit different levels and interests:

Traditional Uechi-Ryu
Pangainoon Katas
The Old Way （上地流旧式）

No matter which path you choose, our goal remains the same: to guide you in deepening your Uechi-Ryu practice and understanding, step by step.

The Institute is part of our Uechi-Ryu Oryukai Practice Community, rooted in the belief that growth comes through sharing and exchange, beyond organizational boundaries.

Our members come from six different international organizations, making this a true accelerator for learning.
By exploring our similarities and differences, we grow faster, see more clearly, and better absorb the core principles of Okinawan Karate.
